ISPS bases its English-medium program on the US model. The elementary school curriculum takes a holistic, child-centered approach while promoting critical and creative thinking, providing cooperative learning opportunities and making accommodations for individual learning styles. Course work integrates art, music, foreign language, computer technology and physical education classes. At the middle school level, pupils follow an alternating schedule in which core classes meet every other day for 80 minutes. The college preparatory high school program features AP classes and such electives as art, drama and yearbook, as well as an alternating schedule that includes 85-minute classes. Graduates earn a US high school diploma. Students engage in educational and experiential trips as part of the curriculum. Community service is actively encouraged. Sporting events, cultural programs, student government and regularly scheduled drama productions balance academics.
