International School of Lausanne

Chemin de la Grangette 2, 1052 Le Mont-sur-Lausanne, Switzerland

Children from the United States attend ISL with children from Great Britain, Canada, Holland and Scandinavia. The curriculum is comparable to that of primary schools in Britain and the US, and it prepares children for secondary education. Instruction is provided in traditional subjects and computer studies, with French studied as a second language. Special courses and individual tutoring are arranged for children whose first language is not English. Older students spend one day a week during the winter term receiving professional skiing instruction in the Alps.
