International School of Helsingborg

Vastra Allen 7, 254 51 Helsingborg, Sweden

Founded in response to local demand for international schooling, ISH employs English as its language of instruction and follows IB guidelines. International pupils, whose families are typically on short-term assignment to one of the area’s multinational companies, enroll from Europe, North and South America, Asia and the Middle East. Beginning in kindergarten and continuing through grade 5, the school conducts the Primary Years Program. Boys and girls then progress to the Middle Years Program and, finally, the Diploma Program. As ISH is a state school, course work also fulfills requirements of the Swedish National Curriculum. Located at the neck of the main entrance to the Baltic Sea, Helsingborg is accessible to Copenhagen, Denmark; Gothenburg; and Malmo.
