International School of Athens

Xenias & Artemidos Sts, PO Box 51051, 145 10 Kifissia, Greece

ISA's curriculum addresses the needs of its highly international student body. A college preparatory program serves both American students and others planning to attend college in the US. For American and English-speaking European students, a course of study leading to the IB Diploma is available. Instruction in computers, sociology, art history, music, drama, studio art and journalism supplements work in the standard subject areas. The school expects all boys and girls to participate in athletic activities such as basketball, soccer, tennis, swimming and volleyball. Pupils embark on excursions to sites of historical and cultural interest in the surrounding city, countryside and islands, as well as to other European destinations. ISA maintains three Athens-area campuses within a short drive of each other. Serving the primary, middle and high schools, the main campus is located in Kifissia, a northern suburb of Athens. The kindergarten (ages 2-5) occupies nearby quarters in three traditional villas.
