The Webb School's primary emphasis is the diagnosis, treatment and education of children in the Greater Hartford area who have emotional disturbances. Children with learning disabilities and perceptual disorders may also enroll in the program. Boys and girls have access to a range of diagnostic and assessment services, and the Institute of Living provides such ancillary services as clinical case management, outreach, and community-based educational and behavioral consultations. The main Webb School location accepts students in grades K-12, and the institute operates a satellite school for children in grades K-8, The Webb School at Cheshire (203-272-8395). The school accepts the following conditions: Anorexia Nervosa, Anxiety Disorders, Asperger's Syndrome, Autism, Bulimia, Emotional Disturbances, Mood Disorder, Obsessive/Compulsive Disorder, Oppositional Defiant Disorder, Pervasive Development Disorder, Psychosis, Posttraumatic Stress Disorder, Prader-Willi Syndrome, School Phobia, Schizophrenia, Tourette’s Syndrome.
