Offering an international college preparatory program, the school maintains an Anglo-American section that readies students for the US College Boards and awards a high school diploma upon the successful completion of grade 12. Specially designed courses prepare interested students for business college entry. The postgraduate year combines intensive language study with business, economics and computer studies. Pupils, who enroll from more than 20 countries, remain at the school for an average of two to three years. Monte Rosa's comprehensive athletic program includes a full skiing program during the winter months. The school expects all students to participate in the sports program at least three times a week. The village of Territet, where the school is located, is on the eastern shore of Lake Geneva, close to Montreux and about 17 miles from Lausanne.
