6300 Zugerberg, Zug, Switzerland
Located on a 75-acre campus just outside of Zug, the cantonal capital, this international institute comprises three distinct divisions. The bilingual (German and English) elementary school (grades 3-6) prepares children for a choice between two programs in grades 7-12: the English-medium international section and the Swiss Gymnasium, which predominantly employs German but includes some English-language instruction. International section boys and girls pursue the International Baccalaureate Diploma. The student body represents more than 30 countries. The international atmosphere is enhanced through the integrated dormitories and school teams and organizations. Institut Montana organizes travel workshops concentrating on specialized interests to various countries during the Easter holidays. The school also arranges shorter trips throughout the school year.
