Catering to the international, professional and local business communities, Hillcrest conducts a UK-style program that accommodates students from more than 50 countries. In grades 6-8, boys and girls take a broad range of subjects. Middle schoolers (grades 9 and 10) typically take 10 subjects (including electives). Boys and girls in the senior school (grades 11 and 12) generally take four subjects the first year at AS level, then three courses at A level their final year. Learning support is available for pupils with specific learning disabilities such as dyslexia, as well as for those to whom English is a second language. An extensive field trip program features social and educational excursions within Kenya, throughout the East African region and overseas.
