The school enrolls children of average and above-average intelligence who have learning disabilities. Focusing on academic skills, self-esteem, study skills, self-discipline and social skills, the program seeks to instill a sense of responsibility in the student while also enhancing his or her self-concept. Daily instruction stresses the acquisition of communicative, problem-solving and reasoning skills, as well as self-sufficiency. Boys and girls satisfy a 70-hour community service requirement prior to graduation. A branch of the school, Hill School Grapevine Campus, serves students in grades 1-8. The school accepts the following conditions: ADHD, Anorexia Nervosa, Asperger's Syndrome, Auditory Processing Disorders, Cerebral Palsy, Discalculia, Dysgraphia, Dyslexia, Learning Differences, Obsessive/Compulsive Disorder, Spina Bifida.
