At multiple Connecticut locations, High Road serves students facing learning, language and social challenges. Each pupil follows an Individualized Education Program based upon his or her assessed needs. Small classes and a favorable faculty-student ratio facilitate progress. Elements of the program include a transitional component, integrated computer technology, a behavior management system and related services. Occupational and physical therapy incurs an additional fee. The school accepts the following conditions: ADHD, Anxiety Disorders, Aphasia, Apraxia, Asthma, Asperger's Syndrome, Autism, Cardiac Disorders, Cerebral Palsy, Dysgraphia, Dyslexia, Epilepsy, Infantile Paralysis, Intellectual Disabilities, Learning Differences, Muscular Dystrophy, Mood Disorder, Multiple Sclerosis, Obsessive/Compulsive Disorder, Orthopedic/Neurological Disabilities, Pervasive Development Disorder, Posttraumatic Stress Disorder, Speech/Languague Impairments, Spina Bifida, School Phobia, Tourette’s Syndrome, Traumatic Brain Injury.
