Heritage Hall School
1800 NW 122nd St, Oklahoma City, OK 73120
Located on a 105-acre campus in the northwestern part of the city, Heritage Hall offers a college preparatory curriculum that combines foundational core subjects with an array of enrichment courses. The lower school (grades PS-4), which commences with a three-year-old preschool, places emphasis on the acquisition of basic learning, critical thinking, problem solving, technology and communicational skills. Instructors employ various teaching methods in a setting that can accommodate children with differing learning rates and styles. Visual arts and music course work is particularly strong. During the middle school years (grades 5-8), programming provides a foundation for the upper school by focusing on language arts, math, science and social studies, and students also gain an exposure to foreign language. Annual standardized testing diagnoses areas in need of reinforcement and assists teachers with appropriate placement and course selection. Heritage Hall's upper school (grades 9-12) continues to stress the traditional disciplines. Freshmen and sophomores may enroll in advanced math and science courses, while able upperclassmen choose from honors and Advanced Placement offerings in the major subject areas. All upper school boys and girls perform 32 hours of required community service annually.
