Help for Brain Injured Children–The Cleta Harder Developmental School

HBIC provides educational and rehabilitative services for children, adolescents and young adults who have a brain injury or dysfunction. Named for the center's founder, the Cleta Harder Developmental School offers an individualized academic program for the pupil who has the potential to move to a higher level of functioning, but who requires a small, controlled environment to do so. Within a highly structured and disciplined environment, the school maintains an individualized motor development regime and a student-faculty ratio of no greater than 2:1. The school accepts the following conditions: ADHD, Asperger's Syndrome, Autism, Cerebral Palsy, Intellectual Disabilities, Multiple Disabilities, Orthopedic/Neurological Disabilities, Traumatic Brain Injury.
