200 N Maple Ave, Greenwich, CT 06830
Located on a 39-acre campus, Greenwich Academy is a traditional girls' school with a structured liberal arts curriculum. Clearly defined requirements in English, mathematics, history, language arts and science are supplemented by a wide range of electives offered both at GA and through coordination with neighboring Brunswick School for boys. Honors and Advanced Placement courses are available in most disciplines; in addition, the use of laptop computers leased from the school is required in grades 7-12. Classes and projects in the arts are central to the curriculum, with choices in the performing and visual arts. Interscholastic athletic competition begins in grade 7 with a variety of individual and team sports. All students are encouraged to perform community service. GA's coordinated program with Brunswick provides not only coeducational classes, but also many joint music, drama, art and community service projects. The Ridgeview Avenue campus accommodates preschool and kindergarten children.
