George Stevens Academy
23 Union St, Blue Hill, ME 04614
In addition to the regular college preparatory curriculum, the school provides honors and Advanced Placement courses, ESL instruction and special education classes and support for students with dyslexia. Most students spend at least one period per day in the academic support center, which provides assistance with homework and research projects. Opportunities for two-week internships or independent study are available for pupils in grades 11 and 12. The academy added a boarding division in the fall of 2008.
