In conjunction with McLean Hospital, Kennedy operates a 17-bed residential school for children with multiple disabilities or medical challenges in one or more of the following areas: physical/motor, perceptual, language/communication, cognitive/learning and attention/interaction. Hospital services are coordinated with a team approach in designing individualized programs. The spectrum of integrated offerings includes an augmentative communication team, assistive/computer technology, music therapy (and various other therapies), life skills/vocational training, family resource services, adaptive physical education, audiology, speech-language pathology, psychological services and reading services. The school accepts the following conditions: Asthma, Autism, Cardiac Disorders, Cerebral Palsy, Epilepsy, Infantile Paralysis, Muscular Dystrophy, Orthopedic/Neurological Disabilities, Spina Bifida, Traumatic Brain Injury.
