Episcopal High School
3200 Woodland Ridge Blvd, Baton Rouge, LA 70816
Founded as a college preparatory school, Episcopal now serves grades PS-12 at its 55-acre campus in the southeastern section of Baton Rouge. French and Spanish instruction begins in kindergarten, and Latin is added to the foreign language offerings in grade 4. The middle school program (grades 6-8) emphasizes study techniques, logical thinking, time management and personal responsibility. Honors sections, Advanced Placement courses and extensive elective options round out the upper school program. Required chapel services are held once a week in the lower school and three times each week in the middle and upper schools. Upper school students perform 10 hours of community service in grade 9 and 20 hours in grades 10 and 11. In Episcopal's advisory program, pupils work closely with a faculty member throughout the upper school years.
