Ecole Active Bilingue, Victor Hugo School

23 rue de Cronstadt, 75015 Paris, France

One of five EAB locations in Paris, Victor Hugo School serves those wishing to pursue an American, British or International Baccalaureate Diploma in a French environment. English is the primary language of instruction, although French is mandatory at all grade levels and music, art and computers are conducted entirely in French. Children in grades K-5 follow a British curriculum, with intensive English classes available as needed. The junior high school (grades 6-8) features the use of laptop computers to connect to the school's wireless network. At the high school level, most courses in grades 9 and 10 lead to the IGCSE examinations. In grades 11 and 12, students pursue either the IB Diploma or the International High School Diploma, which includes preparation for British A-level or American Advanced Placement exams.
