Country Day School of the Sacred Heart

480 S Bryn Mawr Ave, Bryn Mawr, PA 19010

Originally established in Philadelphia by the Religious of the Sacred Heart, the school was located in suburban Overbrook for many years before relocating to Bryn Mawr in 1978. The college preparatory curriculum includes college-level courses in French, Latin, English, history, biology, chemistry and math. Students fulfill course requirements in religion and art history, and CDSSH integrates a particularly strong humanities program into its curriculum. The school's technology curriculum features an iPad cart program in the lower and middle schools, as well as a one-to-one iPad program during sophomore year. Frequent field trips throughout the Philadelphia area enrich classroom instruction. Athletics, music, clubs and community service projects augment the traditional academics. The school offers exchange opportunities with 20 other Sacred Heart institutions throughout the US. International exchanges are also available, most notably with the network school in Sydney, Australia.
