C/A enrolls intelligent students who have mild to moderate learning differences or attentional challenges. A college preparatory curriculum serves pupils in grades 6-12, while an elementary program for children in grades 3-5 features reading and math remediation. The academy maintains small class sizes and tailors instruction to individual learning styles, with the goal of preparing graduates for four-year college attendance. Honors courses and graphic and visual arts offerings are part of the high school curriculum. Boys and girls satisfy the following community service requirements: five hours per year in grades 6-8, 10 hours annually in grades 9-12.
