CISS provides its international student body with a US-style curriculum that utilizes English as the primary language of instruction. Those fluent in Spanish may take Spanish and social studies in the language, but all other instruction is in English. High schoolers who wish to do so may earn the Salvadoran government diploma by successfully completing certain supplemental courses. Spanish as a Second Language instruction is part of the program. Extracurricular activities are similar to those found in US schools. Scholarship aid is not available to first-year pupils.
