Situated on an 80-acre campus around a six-acre lake, this school was established by Rt. Rev. Thomas Casady, then Episcopal bishop of Oklahoma, and by members of the laity. Bible instruction is given in grades 1-8; kindergartners go to chapel service once a week, while students in grades 1-12 attend daily. Conversational Spanish commences in kindergarten, and pupils have a choice of French or Spanish in grade 6; Latin is required in grades 7 and 8. The upper division (grades 9-12) offers a rigorous college preparatory education enhanced by strong arts and sports programs and an extensive activities program. Students complete courses in English, mathematics, modern or classical languages, history, laboratory sciences, computer science and the fine arts. In addition, boys and girls choose from a large selection of electives, including Advanced Placement courses in every discipline and independent studies. Students accumulate 45 hours of required community service during the upper division years.
