Situated in the southeast corner of Rokko Island, the school requires proficiency in English for admission. The primary school, which follows the IB Primary Years and Middle Years programs, emphasizes learning about Japan. Self-contained classrooms provide a base for free-flowing groupings and individualized instruction. In addition to core courses, CA offers specialist-taught classes in music, art, physical education, computer and Japanese. The college preparatory secondary school curriculum leads to the IB Diploma and includes electives in the social sciences, languages and the arts.
