Bridges program for temperamentally challenged boys is based on four specific components: small population size, individually paced education, family involvement and a single-sex student population. The minimum length of enrollment is one year, with some boys requiring additional time to achieve their program goals. Bridges conducts a year-round, self-paced middle and high school program that promotes credit recovery and transferable credits. Students who remain until graduation may earn a diploma. In addition to academics, the academy offers individual, group and family counseling; experiential learning opportunities; and community living options. Required community service is also part of the program. The school accepts the following conditions: ADHD, Anxiety Disorders, Asperger's Syndrome, Conduct Disorder, Emotional Disturbances, Mood Disorder, Obsessive/Compulsive Disorder, Oppositional Defiant Disorder, Pervasive Development Disorder, School Phobia, Substance Abuse.
