Brenau University Early College Program
500 Washington St SE, Gainesville, GA 30501
Founded as Brenau Academy by Dr. H. S. Pearce on the campus of Brenau University Women's College, Brenau's Early College Program enables academically advanced juniors and seniors to engage in a curriculum that satisfies traditional high school requirements while also providing girls with access to the full range of Women's College courses. Upon completing this program and graduating from Early College, the student will earn transferable college credits that could result in a two-year associate of arts degree from the university. The program's association with the university also enables pupils to attend lectures and concerts, and also to make use of the shared campus facilities. Academic and residential living support, academic advising and tutorial services are also available. In addition to extracurricular clubs and activities, students may engage in cultural field trips, community pursuits, supervised weekend outings, and domestic and international travel opportunities.
