Brandon School and Residential Treatment Center
27 Winter St, Natick, MA 01760
Located on a 35-acre campus, Brandon offers residential and day services for young and adolescent boys with emotional and behavioral problems. The center specializes in the assessment and the treatment of fire setters and boys displaying inappropriate sexual behavior. The learning environment approximates that of a public school, but Brandon's small enrollment allows for additional supports and structure. The program seeks to improve students' academic and social skills, to develop more appropriate behavioral controls, and to improve self-esteem levels. Psychotherapists and graduate clinical interns administer psychotherapy and family services. Brandon's residential program offers several levels of treatment, ranging from more restrictive to less restrictive. All residents utilize group meetings, family-style meals, study halls and privilege levels. Acute services, including diagnostic services and emergency placements, are also available. The school accepts the following conditions: Anxiety Disorders, Emotional Disturbances, Learning Differences, Mood Disorder, Nonverbal Learning Differences, Oppositional Defiant Disorder, Pervasive Development Disorder, Posttraumatic Stress Disorder, Sexually Abused, Sex Offender, School Phobia.
