555 Albion Ave, Cincinnati, OH 45246
Located on 23 wooded acres in the suburban village of Glendale, Bethany provides a challenging academic program for boys and girls from Cincinnati who plan to attend college. The school was established by the Episcopal Society of the Transfiguration; however, the diverse student body represents various religious backgrounds. Bethany's curriculum places strong emphasis on the development of sound reading and math skills. In grades 1-8, wireless laptops are employed in each classroom. Computer education is an important part of the overall program for all boys and girls, and problem-solving labs provide further enrichment. Field trips, excursions and overnights are other integral instructional tools. As part of extracurricular programming, students may participate in interscholastic academic competitions in such areas as math, writing and social studies.
