Benilde-St. Margaret's School

Formed by the 1974 merger of St. Margaret's Academy, a girls' school founded in 1907 and operated by the Sisters of St. Joseph, and Benilde High School, a Catholic boys' school that was founded in 1956, Benilde-St. Margaret's enrolls students from Minneapolis and 20 suburban areas. Juniors take a career and college planning class as a graduation requirement. Among the school's special offerings are summer retreats and peer ministry, mission trips, study abroad opportunities, community tutoring programs, service learning and environmental programs.
