BBA offers individualized academic programs for learning-disabled students of average to above-average intelligence. The program stresses cognitive abilities, language skills and independence training. Most subjects incorporate computers. Students work on problem solving and are taught to use strategies that facilitate their own learning. All pupils must take part in a structured study hall, except for those who prove they have acquired independent study skills or who maintain an "A" average. Parents participate in the program, and therapy and counseling are available. An on-site clinic concentrates on academic remediation and skill improvement for both children and adults not enrolled in the day school program. The clinic also emphasizes independence and socialization skills. Classes are small and all work is individualized. The school accepts the following conditions: Discalculia, Dysgraphia, Dyslexia, Learning Differences.
