The oldest Jesuit school west of the Mississippi River, Bellarmine enrolls boys from a wide geographical area: north to Burlingame and San Francisco, east to Fremont and Livermore, west to Scotts Valley and Santa Cruz, and south to Watsonville and Gilroy. Advanced Placement offerings are available throughout the curriculum, including in all four foreign languages. Performing and visual arts course work is extensive. Students in grades 9-11 perform 15 hours of required community service annually (with target population varying by grade), while seniors compile 30 hours.
