Psycho-educational evaluations for hearing-impaired children are also available. The school program incorporates FM amplification systems. Atlanta Speech School operates a children's cochlear implant center that, in conjunction with the Oral School, offers speech and auditory training to children being considered for implants and to those who have already received implants. Classroom teachers and members of the cochlear implant staff work together to maximize the benefits of the implant. Other offerings of the facility include educational consultation and placement services as well as learning disabilities and speech/language/audiology clinics that offer diagnostic and remedial services. The school accepts the following conditions: Deafness, Hearing Impairments.
