Beregovaya St 1, 125367 Moscow, Russia
Sponsored jointly by the American, British and Canadian embassies in Moscow, AAS conducts a faculty-designed curriculum that draws on educational practices from each of the sponsoring countries and takes international standards and Russian culture into account. The elementary school utilizes the IB Primary Years Program. Middle school students not attending ESL classes are required to study Russian, French or Spanish, and elective offerings rotate each quarter. Mother-tongue language programs are available in 11 languages. Following a program of core subjects in grades 9 and 10, high schoolers pursue a traditional AAS diploma, IB certificates or the full IB Diploma.
