Children who are deaf or deaf with other special needs take part in a total communication program that emphasizes language growth and development. ASD offers academic, vocational, residential, counseling and support programs. Three separate summer sessions will accept students from other schools. High school seniors perform 20 hours of required community service. Outpatient services are available, as is home-based counseling for deaf and hard-of-hearing infants and their families. ASD also offers outreach and support services on a fee-for-service basis to deaf and hard-of-hearing individuals in other placements. The school accepts the following conditions: Deafness.
