American School Foundation
Bondojito 215, Col Las Americas, 01120 Mexico City, Mexico
Located on a 17-acre tract on the western edge of the city, ASF provides a full early childhood through high school program for a student body composed largely of Mexicans and Americans. While English is the primary language of instruction, children follow a completely bilingual curriculum in grades 1-6. Skills classes serve pupils that require English language support. The school also maintains a special-needs program for those in grades 1-12. ASF utilizes all three programs of the International Baccalaureate Organization, beginning with the Primary Years Program and extending through the Diploma Program. In addition to engaging in IB Diploma course work, high schoolers have the opportunity to take Advanced Placement classes in many disciplines.
