The dePaul School provides elementary education for dyslexic students of average to above-average intelligence. Candidates for admission should have no primary emotional problems and should not have been classified as behaviorally disturbed or mentally retarded. Course work, which is designed to help students gain independence in their learning, emphasizes organizational, study, test-taking, note-taking and textbook skills. Parental involvement as a means of reinforcement is an integral part of the program. The usual length of enrollment is two to three years. The school accepts the following conditions: ADHD, Dyslexia.
