Founded as the Mennonite Orphan's Home, the agency shifted its focus in 1957 toward serving children with learning, behavioral and emotional disorders. Adriel offers treatment for children with an array of adjustment and emotional problems and also works with the children's families to help them overcome difficulties that inhibit healthy functioning. Five area residential treatment centers provide therapy, spiritual opportunities and on-campus education. The school accepts the following conditions: ADHD, Anxiety Disorders, Conduct Disorder, Emotional Disturbances, Intellectual Disabilities, Obsessive/Compulsive Disorder, Oppositional Defiant Disorder, Pervasive Development Disorder, Posttraumatic Stress Disorder, Sexually Abused, Traumatic Brain Injury.
