Abraham Joshua Heschel School

Named for Rabbi Heschel, a prominent scholar, philosopher and theologian, the school integrates Jewish tradition and history into its secular curriculum. Students come from a variety of Jewish backgrounds. High schoolers (grades 9-12) participate in a one-to-one laptop program. The middle school is located on West 91st Street, while the lower school operates on West 89th Street. The high school division opened on West End Avenue in 2002.
